The Sigma Gamma Chapter was colonized in October 2008. Under the guidance of Resident Consultant Kristan Barleen, the colony grew and by-laws and traditions were composed. The chapter name was chosen to be Sigma Gamma, symbolizing a "Sisterhood of Elegance and Grace" The Chapter was officially installed on April 4th, 2009.
